Nautical Fat Quarter Carry All Bag

Hello Everyone!
Look what my sweet sister in law showed me how to make
while she was visiting at the lake cottage!

She loves to sew, and while she taking a sewing class,
several of the ladies, had made these bags out of fat quarters,

she thought they were fabulous…just like me, so
she made several.

Of course she did all of the hard work….like cutting,  pinning…
all I had to do was sew, in a somewhat straight line, where she told me to.
They are so large, I believe they could hold at the least 3 or more beach
towels, plus books and etc.

We used my husband’s boat rope for the handle,
but you could make one out of fabric, or depending on the theme
of your fabric.  There’s so many ideas.

I think they would make a

great graduation gift, maybe with a monogrammed towel
tucked inside.

What do you think?  If you can sew a semi straight line
then this is the project for you.

You know a girl can’t have too many bags!  If you would like to make one….

I hope you enjoy your week,
see you soon!
