Dried Date Pecan-Cheese Wafers

Hello Friends,

It’s my turn to host our sorority meeting…

I’m making these wonderful Dried Date Pecan Cheese Wafers.

Our group of ladies love wine and these are the perfect wafers

to serve with either white or red wine.

They’re not too sweet, but they have just enough sweet from the dried fruit, savory pecans

and just a little kick of spice from the cayenne pepper.

I’ve had these before at a party and couldn’t wait until my friend gave me the recipe.

The great thing about this recipe….it makes plenty!

They’re also rated 5 stars at Southern Living’s Website.

You can also use dried cranberries or basically any kind of dried fruit.

I’m serving soup and other goodies in the white ironstone I scored from GW this week,

  • Soup Tureen with ladle
  • platter
  • bowl

all for under $10.00.

I’m thinking SPRING….. even though the temperatures'

are dropping somewhere in the high teens this week.

Stay warm and enjoy your weekend!

See you soon!
