While walking in my neighborhood this morning I spotted this rusty old bike leaning up against a tree,
I thought it looked right at home.
I know that rust isn’t for everyone but how about a rusty dragon fly…
or a little iron….
maybe a French basket with fresh flowers,
an old screen door from the l920’s
driftwood from the lake…
or possibly a garden statue. Do you have any yard art?
As we continued walking along we came upon this lovely
house with no yard art,
with no rust,
just lovely boxwoods.
I thought how simple, and classic this home looks without all of the rust, yard art, soooo
just maybe I should go home and……..
PACK! I’ll discuss this situation with my sister in law, later on, over a glass of wine or a cup of tea in a little cafĂ© in Paris or Italy. That’s right! We’re leaving soon! It seems like time has flown since we first planned this trip.
Our first stop will be Venice, then Rome, from Rome to the South of France and then on to Paris. I will be journaling and taking lots of pictures to share with you, but until then my friends please take care and I will see you sometime in July!
~Thanks and good by~
Merci et bonne!
Grazie e Arrivederci!

These arts add whimsy to the garden, and bring a smile to the passers by.
