Hello everyone!
Thank you for your sweet comments on the goodwill shelf.
What do you think about older homes? My view…. older homes have so much charm, character and warmth. Practically all of my life I have either lived or worked in an older home and I’ve always admired the craftsmanship that’s usually found in older homes.
I thought I would show you a few of the rooms in the old house where I work.
When I starting working here the doors were painted a pale pink, I think the black looks a little more professional.
The floors are all original knotty pine.
I love the staircase!
There are six fireplaces and they located in most of the offices.
The height of the ceilings are twelve foot.
If you live in an old house you probably already know you need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and do most of the work yourself. My painter didn’t show up so guess who’s painting?
There’s a downside to old houses, they are expensive to maintain. Of course any home that’s 90 years old is going to require some maintenance. Right? But my motto is; live in the house that feels like home no matter what. Do you live in an old house?
Have a nice weekend!
See you soon!

Mary, What a WONDERFUL looking Victorian home...or office not sure which.
LOVE, LOVE the trim on it too. The arched window would have sold it to me at first sight.
Can you really go out on that little balcony above the bay windows ?
Just became a follower....must keep track of your progress.
