Hello Everyone,
We had family from North Carolina staying with us over the weekend, and together we hosted our annual family reunion at a local club house. It was so much fun! We have such a great family! Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, and even though it was a lot of hard work… it was totally worth it.
The weather has been very nice here... we decided outdoor dinning would be perfect.
Since we have had so much rain, crepe myrtle leaves and blooms were everywhere! They were all over the bar, tables and chairs…..
My husband and I strung the patio lights (that I have had for a couple of years) which made a nice soft light for evening dinning.
. It's funny…. the things you capture after you photograph something. I see a big green walnut in my succulents. Those sneaky little squirrels!
This rainy season has also produced huge misquotes, and when they bite you…let me just say…you will know it for days! Thanks to a Pinterest tip, we have kept them at bay.
You want to know the secret? CHEAP DRYER SHEETS! They work wonders! If you are having trouble with misquotes…give them a try.
We had such a nice time…lots of laughter, good food. we loved telling stories and reminiscing about our younger days…
I’ll admit…after everyone left, I was ready for a very long nap!
How about you? Do you enjoy Fresco dinning?
Thank you so much for visiting! I appreciate each and every one of you!
Take care and I will see you soon!
Mary

This looks so inviting and great to have a wonderful evening outside. The cheap dryer sheets? I will have to take a look at this as I hate being bitten to pieces when I sit outside. Have a wonderful weekend. Chel x
Mary, nice pictures and yes, I love Al Fresco dining.
It looks amazing Aunt Mary! I wish we could've been there! You have the most amazing house!
Mary,
It's so nice that you got to see all your family. Everything looks wonderful at your house. I bet it was a lot of work, but definitely worth it, as family is so important.
Have a nice Labor Day weekend.
Love,
~Sheri
You have a lovely setting for outdoor dining; the absence of mosquitoes makes it better.
