Ah, Spring! This season brings increasing daylight, warming temperatures
(although we’re still waiting) as well as, lovely flowers.
If you would like to find the average
frost dates for your last spring frost and first fall frost,
click here. It’s the average frost Chart here in the US.
It seems like Spring is taking it’s good ole time
arriving here this year!
I’m sure it’s just around the corner…but in the meantime
the spring daffodil's are putting on a show.
I’ve spent a few hours over the weekend adding a
little spring and summer touches to the dinning area.
My garden is in desperate need of a little TLC.
If the Frost Chart above is anywhere near
correct, it’s look like we have several more weeks to go before
the frost’s are over.
There’s nothing fancy, dancy going on here….just a few things I found
around the house, and…
threw in my twig basket.
Now….I’ve got to come up with a menu!
I think I’ll check out Pinterest!
Since I discovered Pinterest, I never use my cook books anymore.
Take care everyone!
Have a good week and I will see you soon!
I’m linking up with My Little Home & Garden’s Sunlit Sunday. If you get a chance please stop
and say hello.

Mary,
I have that same bird plate but in red and white. I love it. Your Easter table looks very nice, and Bunny is so cute. Your daffodils are beautiful, and the bright yellow color is just perfect for spring. It has been warm here lately, although the weather says we may get a few showers here and there. We'll see.
Have a happy week.

Thank you Mary, for such a great post to welcome Spring. I love those daffodils, I can't wait to see those pop up here in PA. Your Easter table is beautiful and I love that basket you made up. Happy Spring!
Hi Mary How lovely to see your spring, arriving earlier in some places than in others. Today I've just put a bunch of yellow tulips in a few vases, The ones in pots outside will still be a while before they are in bloom. I chose white this year for a change. I find here in France I need to replace them each year as they either rot or the mice/voles eat them underground. Your 'Blog Assistant' looks happy amongst the flowers.I hope he hasn't quashed your daffodils
Hi Mary,
Lovely to discover your blog, via Sheri.
All your spring photos with the daffodils are so pretty, - they really do herald a welcoming return to warmer days.
Your blog assistant is a cutie.
Happy weekend
Carolyn
Mary,
I love how you came up with your blog name, and I know Nel will appreciate that as she loves all things french. The smell of lavender is simply delightful.

You've created some springtime prettiness here. I love the daffodils and your basket of fun.
I'm back again. When I saw your post earlier today, I was hoping you would link it to "Sunlit Sunday" and am so glad that you did. Daffodils just say sunny springtime to me!

A lovely spring and Easter tablescape.
The daffodils certainly brighten up the room.
Everything is indeed springy - I love the daffodils, the dishes, the bunny - everything.
I love the twiggy basket! I think I'll put together a Spring arrangement today. It's a stay inside kind of day here! Happy Spring!
Your table looks so welcoming. I'm like you and pin the recipes I see now, such a good way of keeping things! Take care. Chel x
Spring is very pretty at your house. We are still seeing frosty mornings up here, but nothing like in the east!
Your table looks fancy with those tiny tea lights.
Your table looks super cute! I love how you arranged the daffodils. I can't wait to see some popping out of the ground!
Lovely spring touches in your home. Daffodils are so cheerful, aren't they?
Love your touches of spring! So cheerful. Visiting from Sunlit Sunday.

Mary,
I didn't know you loved Daisy Cottage. If you go to her new blog on the left side and click on HOME, you will see pictures of just her home. It brought back sweet memories of Daisy Cottage. Thanks for visiting today, my friend.
