I’ve neglected my house, blog and everything this week….due to
the Final Four Basketball games.
We’re so excited that UK is still in the finals!
Tomorrow’s game will definitely be EXCITING to say the least! Kansas or KY?
I did manage stop by GW and do a little thrifting.
This bread basket reminds me of the beignet basket that was used to serve the most delicious
crescents at the old Chateau in Auty, France.
While we were in France, I actually searched for one at the different brocante’s we visited.
Who would have thought I would find one at our local GW for only $2.00!
I did manage to paint this old garage door, that adjoins our courtyard, this week.
I’m not too happy with it….
possibly a different color, more sanding, I don’t know, but I do like the patina on the iron
scroll work. I left it outside this winter and it’s finally getting that old rusty
patina.
Albert and I have been taking more frequent walks because this spring weather has been almost perfect.
I’m thinking all of those DIY projects will just have to wait a little while longer or
at least until the weather gets much warmer and it’s too hot to be outside.
I think Albert definitely agrees with this plan.
He’s such a ham. This little guy doesn’t seem to mind to wear hats or ties,
he just goes with the flow.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful weekend and….
Happy April Fools Day!
See you soon!
Pin It now!

Mary,
This is the cutest picture of Albert! The flowers are so beautiful, and I love the iron decor. Happy Easter to you, my dear friend. I hope you have a blessed day. Your pictures are getting to be so wonderful!
