Hi everyone! Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving? It’s a busy time of the
year, isn’t it? I spent the whole afternoon just putting away Halloween stuff. I
keep telling myself, next year, I am going to pare waaaay down on my Halloween
decor. (Why doesn’t self listen?)
Even though it has been a busy week I did manage to get a few more things
accomplished in my catch all sewing/craft room.
At least my thread is a little more organized and somewhat color coordinated.
This is a little sign I picked up at Good Will. I sanded, painted and sanded
again…..too much work for such a small sign. :o)
My sister-in- law and I are planning a visit to southern France next year and
since I cannot speak or understand a word of French I thought maybe I could at
least smile and say, “bonjour.” :o)
I found this old, old ladder in our basement. I thought about white washing it
but I somewhat like the paint splatters.
I also like to use canisters or recycled jars for extra storage. I learned the hard
way…..if your thread is dusty, your machine will not work. :-(
While I was thinking about organizing my sewing/craft art room, I picked up a
couple of Studio magazines at Jo Ann’s. They really do have some neat ideas
and inspiration for your art or craft space.
If you would like to get many more great ideas and inspirations, you can join me
here, Thrifty Decor Chick’s before & after Party.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Organized week!
Pin It now!

Thank you so much for sharing and it is nice to be able to have a room all to yourself right?
Bonjour :)
I like how you organized your thread, so neat and colourful. And your Bonjour sign, the writting is nice. I think you're a very artistic person :)
The thread makes such a colorful statement in the room! Looks like a cozy place to call your own.
Ahhh...I just love organization. The thread in the glass containers is fun to look at. And I would definitely leave the ladder as is. It adds to the character of the space.

Hi Mary-
I love what you did with the old ladder - perfect corner spot to display some of your favorite things in your craft space. You should link it up to Funky Junk Interiors - decorating with ladders link up.
My best- Diane
