Hello friends!
I found these beautiful flowers growing
wild behind a friend’s house!
Some of them were as least 8 ft. tall. I would say they’re
a little invasive, but they are so lovely and really do put on a show.
I’m sorry I don’t know the correct name for them.
I was hoping some of you would know so I could
tell another neighbor. He tried to
replant a few of these in his back yard but
didn’t have any luck getting them to grow.
I’m thinking these will probably go to seed in a few weeks and hopefully we can
get them started next spring.
We hosted a couples shower last weekend, they
were perfect for our fresh fall flower arrangements
Bees love them!
Now……if only
we could keep this beautiful fall weather!
Are you a big fan of fall or do you like winter better?
Winter will be here before you know it!
Where has this year gone? It seems like 2012 just flew right past me.
Take care and I hope you have a great weekend!
See you soon!

beautiful fall views. so lovely. (:
Good Morning Mary, I'm sure what you have there is a form of sunflower (helianthus multiflorus).
Not the same as the large sunflowers grown in France but a smaller version. Hope this helps. Enjoy your day. Best Wishes Daphne
What pretty photos of fall you captured. I wonder if the gorgeous flower is a Cosmos. It is similar to them from what I can tell from the photo. I love everything about the fall season except realizing that winter will be just around the corner. The colors of fall are just so beautiful that they make me happy.--------- Shannon

You take some of the prettiest pictures that I've seen. These yellow flowers are so pretty. Yes, I love Fall! It is my favorite season, and I'm enjoying all that it has to offer. It is amazing how close you got to the Bee and how lovely the picture turned out.
