Hello everyone!
How was your weekend?
We’ve had a little tiny break in the weather this week and the sun actually came out for a few days. However, the reality is - it’s still winter here. That means just stand still and the weather can change at any given moment.
We decided to invite our neighbors for a casual dinner party. (My husband makes wonderful Jambalaya.) We had a little concern of just how many would actually attend but… they all came! They ate. Drank wine. We visited and chatted all evening. It turned out to be so much fun and it broke the monotony of the long winter; some even suggested hosting the next dinner party. Who would have thought? Could this be the beginning of a new trend or should I say an old trend when neighbors used to visit?
White tulips were chosen for the dessert table.
We had Amaretto bread pudding and Heavenly Chocolate cake for dessert along with the French Market’s delicious coffee.
"Laissez les bon temps rouller” (let the good times roll).
I found this French Fleur basket was on sale at Jo-Ann's.
Think spring! It’s right around the corner!
Yeah! I finally completed a long overdue sewing project today. I will be sharing it with you very soon but until then… best wishes friends and have a wonderful week! x0x0x0x0x
