Old Shutters

I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's day!  I did remember to wear green to work today but I forgot to make corned beef and cabbage.  Does that mean I'm going to have a year of bad luck? I hope not!

Do you like shutters?  Old ones?  I don't know why but I have always been facinated by old shutters.  Here's a few of my favorites.

 

These aren't old but I love the red against the old grey building.

These shutters are in my family room.  I think they would look great painted or aged.  What do you think?    The room is painted kaki and lots of neutrals going on in this room.  Any suggestions? Pin It now!
