I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We sure did here in WK. My youngest daughter and a friend came for a weekend visit, we had a wonderful time!
It’s always great to be around family during the holidays.
Driftwood has been one of my favorite things, I especially like the patina of the wood and the wonder of all the places it has been. A few weeks ago, I ran across this blog called stories of a 2 z. She had made the cutest sailboat out of drift wood. She really did inspire me to get the piece of driftwood, that I had found, and make a sailboat this afternoon.
Here is the exact spot that she came from.
It’s almost impossible to pick up a piece of wood around Albert (golden retriever). He retrieves sticks, wood, balls, whatever, you throw in the lake. See where he bit the end off? I think it only adds character plus a cute story. :o)
Thanks again for stopping by Lavender & Linen. Hope you sail through the week with joy and creativity! ;-)
