Waiting on Spring

Hi friends,

It’s been bitter cold here for the last month or so.  We’ve had snow, ice and extremely low temperatures for this area, and just when things start looking up, we are getting ready for another blast,  looking on the positive side, we will surely appreciate Spring even more…right?

Snow Bunnies

I’m hosting a ladies luncheon in the next couple of weeks, so I’ve been working on a few spring decorations…trying a new DIY project for Easter eggs.  I’ll let you know later how it turns out, but in the meantime, I’m putting away some of my winter décor and trying to organize closets and etc.

In the meantime, I’ve been making these adorable little paper roses for a banner to hang over the dessert table. They’re so much fun to make and I think they will add a little Spring charm.

After a few days of being housebound, we took a short drive through horse country where I snapped a few photo’s of the horses and deer.

We saw lots of “snow” faces!

Thanks for stopping by today….I hope you have a wonderful week and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

  2. Your bunnies are just adorable and I think the roses are just the right accessory. Your other captures are beautiful with the snow even though I know you are tired of it...I think we are all looking forward to more sunshine and warmer days...

  3. oh my gosh, those bunnies are soooo cute, Mary. I love your pictures of the country. Taking drives with my husband in the country is one of my favorite things to do. These pictures are wonderful.
