Old sewing machine drawer

  

I was looking through some art, studio magazine, trying to get some ideas and inspiration for my sewing room, when I saw a picture of old sewing machine drawers used for storage.  Since I really enjoy refurbishing old things, I bought this one at the 127 yard sale for $2.00.  I thought it was cheap enough, so with a little cleaning, painting, sanding and pasting…...

I already had the paint, the knobs were given to me several years ago,  the

total cost……. $2.00.

  7. I loved this post! I have a couple of old sewing machine drawers too.. One of them holds vintage children's playing cards. The other holds family snapshots. I also collect vintage postcards... many with forget-me-nots on them. So I LOVED yours!
