The best of Summer

Hello everyone! Can you believe it’s July already? It seems like time is flying by. I’m truly enjoying the lovely weather we’ve been having.

One of our favorites things to do is to have dinner on the patio. I planted basil in our concrete planter boxes this year, instead of flowers, my herbs love it.

I used some of our homegrown garlic for the pesto…..I think the garlic blooms are so interesting. The pollinators do as well.

The hydrangeas are especially beautiful this summer. I think it’s due to all the rain we’ve been having.
Do you like fresh cut flowers?

Thanks everyone! I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! We are having our fireworks tonight, due to the storms and rain last night.
I’m glad the dogs don’t mind loud noises.

(Hey guys if this post looks a little different, I’m trying to get Blogo to post and update…so basically this post has been an experiment, thanks again for hanging in there.)

Take care and let me know what you’ve been up to.

xo Mary

The hydrangeas are so pretty, Mary. Love the color. Oh, and that bee picture is fantastic! It's nice to have dinner on the patio sometimes, makes things a bit different. I hope you are enjoying these summer days, Mary. It's been pretty warm here lately and staying inside a lot.

Mary, so sorry to hear about your beloved dog, Albert. The pictures on your last post are exquisite. The one with the magazine SHOULD REALLY BE IN A MAGAZINE! Your Zinnias are lovely, and when I get a garden again, I'd like to plant them. Thinking of you, and just wanted to tell you what a beautiful post this is to remember your dog.

love, ~Sheri
