~Window shopping~

Hello there!

Can you believe it was around 60 degree’s here today? I actually cleaned my yard! It really felt good to be outside in the garden.  I’m thinking about thirty-five more days and then we should start seeing more warm, sunshiny days.

I finally talked myself into cleaning a closet yesterday (that was only after I watched the Hoarders show and felt guilty) soooo the reward for this domesticated, dreaded task was…. a nice drive to a neighboring town to browse through my favorite fabric, consignment and antique shops.

Come on along and shop with me!

I wanted to bring this old white iron urn home with me but it was a little too pricy.

You would think with this economy, antique prices would start declining but from the shops I have been visiting recently they seem to be still holding their own.

I love old wooden bowls, of any kind, but especially the old dough bowls.  The asking price for this one was $185.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you had fun!

  See you soon! xoxo

Thanks for taking us on your virtual trip :)

I love that wing chair as well as the ottoman. If I were to have another baby, which trust me, just should not happen :), I would love to have those in a nursery.

The shop owner is so generous to let you take photos of the goods. Love all the cushion covers, the polka dots one is so cute and the green one is my favourite. Wow the dough bowl is selling at $185!? Make sure you get a lot if you have chance to visit Thailand :)

You already know that I love window shopping. And virtual window shopping is almost as fun as the real thing. Makes me want to visit there in person. I would want that white iron urn as well. Not that I need it, I just want it. lol
