Lake Cottage Winter and Christmas Decor

Our daughters suggested coming to the lake cottage to celebrate Thanksgiving this year and I think it was a great idea! Mr. Winter is getting ready to blow in tonight but this little cottage is always warm and cozy.  The little village here is getting geared up for Christmas.  They are putting up Christmas lights, even the sail boats will be decorated.   I will try to get  photo's and post this week.

I cleaned and started decorating with a little greenery today.  Again I used what we had lying around the cottage, nothing fancy, just slow and relaxing.

Here goes..... another inexpensive, nature inspired Christmas Decor that is sooo simple…..anyone can do.

Old photo’s, tea stained stocking and fresh pine.

We usually have a fire in the fireplace and Mr. is afraid it might light up so it will hang on a bookshelf.

Sounds charming! I would love to be nestled in a cottage by the fire and snowed in! Happy Thanksgiving!
