Bathroom Revamp

This week has been very, very busy.  I’ve been trying to get a few of my summer projects finished and this was one of them.   Let's see....only 50 more to go!:-)

Anyway our small bathroom has been in a great need of an update so finally, I decided this week was the week to “gitter done.” I really do not know why paint color is such a big ordeal to me, but it takes me forever to make up my mind and then I’m always second guessing.  Are you like that too or do you know immediately what you want?

I googled small, vintage, black and white bathrooms and I finally decided I really liked the look of this one. It's a classic, vintage style bathroom.

What was I thinking?   When I saw the black claw foot bath tub I must have thought if I painted my bathroom this color it would just magically appear

My bathroom is not only small but it's narrow.  You can hardly put a ladder up sideways.  If I gain another pound I definitely will not be able to paint it again.:-)

Here is a few before pic's.

The ceiling and crown molding are painted the same color.  Our ceilings are ten ft.  I'm not very fond of painting anyway, especially the ceilings. :-(

Where's the dreamy, black, clawfoot tub?

Hi, Mary! Thanks for stopping by my blog- afatamericaninparis! As for the Chateau Getaway with Kaari, it is a must do! There was never a dull moment or a bad view. The Chateau is gorgeous, the grounds immaculate, the pool inviting, the ladies talented and so much fun (get Molly, Kaari's sister, to do Rowena!), the crafts are devine, and the excursions take you to some of the most beautiful and charming places that were ever hewn from stone! Shall I go on? Picnics catered to you out on the trail, food to die for, fields of sunflowers, 500-year-old tapestries, and treasures to be found at every vide grenier and brocante. If you have any more questions, let me know!

MUCH BETTER!! Love the ceiling color!
The black and white tile is lovely! Sorry about the tub! It is fun to see what someone else is doing to their "This Old House"!...Oh and thanks for the marriage analogy in your bio...I needed to hear that...I was just getting fed up with my old house and realized that I can't just leave and get a new one, but I can stay faithful and keep working at it to make it a place I want to be!
